April 5- Convoy to Eisern (3 Mi SE of Siegen). 155 mm Howitzer set up 50 yards behind, firing NW over us. Knocked out windows, etc.
Marilu: These big portable guns must have packed quite a punch! At 50 yds distance the noise and concussion would have been considerable.
